As per authorities, the tragic accident occurred In Jacksonโs hometown of Upper Marlboro, Maryland when he was traveling in a maroon Dodge Charger with friends Isaiah Hazel, 23 and Anthony Lytton, 24.
Reports indicates that their vehicle collided with two others. Maryland State Police reported that a silver Infiniti, attempting to change lanes at high speed, struck the Charger.

This collision forced the Charger into a moving Chevy Impala before veering off the road and crashing into trees.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene and pronounced Jackson and Hazel dead. Meanwhile, Lytton was transported to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
Police believe Alcohol is Behind the Crash
No other individuals were injured in the crash. The investigation is ongoing, with no charges yet filed against the drivers.
Police officials believe alcohol may have been a contributing factor in the crash. Jackson was in the front passenger seat of the maroon Dodge Charger.
Identity of the Driver
The crash occurred after a silver Infiniti traveling northbound on Route 4 attempted to change lanes. The authorities revealed that the driver behind the accident is identified as Cori Clingman.

The force of the crash caused the Charger to veer off the road and hit multiple tree stumps before coming to a stop. As per reports, there were two other passengers in Cori Clingmanโs Infiniti.
Clingman, 23, and two other passengers in the Infiniti were not injured, police said and the driver of the Impala was also uninjured and refused medical treatment at the scene.
About Khyree Jackson
For the unfamiliar, Khyree Jackson, born on August 11, 1999, was an American football cornerback.
He played college football for numerous including Fort Scott Greyhounds, Alabama Crimson Tide, and the Oregon Ducks.
He was selected by the Minnesota Vikings in the fourth round of the 2024 NFL draft in April.

He attended Dr. Henry A. Wise Jr. High School with Hazel and Lytton. In his senior season, he made 39 catches for 612 yards and 12 touchdowns.
After graduating in 2017, Jackson attended Arizona Western College but returned to Maryland after becoming homesick.
Followed by that, he started working at a local Harris Teeter grocery store, where he earned employee of the month honors.
After two years outside of football, Jackson decided to attend Fort Scott Community College in 2019.
In his one season at Fort Scott CC, Jackson tallied 25 tackles and three interceptions. He opened the 2023 season as a starting cornerback.
