Bhavya who is a stand up comedian is studying Math and CS at Stanford.
Bhavya Shah was not born blind, as he stated on the India’s Got Latent show. He became “pyaar mein andha” while joking, but in actuality, he went completely blind at the age of twelve.
He continued to do what he liked despite this. By the time he was twelve, he was completely blind. Between the ages of five and eleven, he saw the ophthalmologist and eye opticians frequently due to a crash in his eyesight loss. He had attended a regular school up until that point.
Bhavya Shah completed his education at South Bombay’s Gopi Birla Memorial School, where he achieved an astounding 93.4 percent in his tenth-grade year. He wrote his responses on a computer rather than in a real notebook.
“I touch type instead of writing and my computer is equipped with a screen reading software that verbalises everything on the display for me which helps me in making tables, write chemical equations, research, access textbook material, and just about everything I desire,โ Bhavya had earlier said.
He pursued studies in computer science and engineering as a result of the influence that technology had on his life. After that, he applied to IIT and studied for JEE. He graduated from Stanford University in the United States with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematical and Computational Science and a Master of Science in Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence track).
He has “worked at World Bank HQ and Meta (reality Labs), and experienced quantitative social science researcher,” according to his LinkedIn bio, and he is a “World champion in debate.”
As per his LinkedIn, Bhavya Shah is additionally passionate about emerging technologies, product strategy, and trust and safety.” He’s fluent in Python and C++, proficient in Stata and R, and mathematically mature as well as possessing strong communication, stakeholder management, and UX research skills.
