Robin Peter Kendall Bachman was the original drummer for both Brave Belt and Bachman Turner Overdrive bands. Robbie also was sometimes credited with hid nicknames “Robin” or “Rob” on the liner notes of Brave Belt and BTO albums. Bachman semi-retired following BTO’s last live shows held in early 2004 and he was the uncle of musician Tal Bachman.
Robbie along with Fred also co-wrote the group’s one of biggest songs, Roll On Down The Highway. Roll on Down the Highway was on their 3rd studio album, Not Fragile, which contributed to their continued success.
