Chuqin is nicknamed as Lion heart, and mainly plays as a left-handed, shakehand grip player. He is also the top ranked player in the ITTF world rankings. The world number 1 uses a DHS W968, a DHS Hurricane 3 National Blue Sponge (FH, black), and a DHS Hurricane 8 (BH, Red).
