Chennedy, the WNBA player, represented the Texas A&M Aggies in collegiate basketball. 2019 saw the Associated Press select Carter as an honourable mention All-American.
She qualified for the 2020 draft since she turned 22 in 2020. Chennedy Carter announced her intention to forgo her senior season and enter the WNBA draft on March 29.
