Mathis Eboue bio
Mathis Eboue is the son of former Arsenal star Emmanuel Eboue, who recently joined Chelsea from Watford. Emmanuel played for Arsenal and Ivory Coast before his eventual retirement in 2016. He is currently just 15 years old and mainly plays as a midfielder. Mathis was born during his father’s spell at Arsenal, and he is an England under-16 international. He notably scored the winning goal for his side during their 1-0 win over France to win the U16 Challenge Trophy title.
Emmanuel Eboue, 41, earned 79 caps for Ivory Coast, mainly at right-back and his peak fame came with Arsenal from 2004-2011.
Eboué is a Christian and had three children with his Belgian wife, Aurélie, whom he married before joining Arsenal.
Seven years after divorcing a Belgian woman, Aurelie Bertrand, the mother of Mathis, former Ivorian international Emmanuel Eboue remarried. Emmanuel Eboue and his childhood sweetheart, Stephanie Boede, officially walked down the aisle after the former Ivorian international, who divorced his ex-wife from Belgium in 2017, found love again. Eboue and Boede went on to marry in a court wedding in 2018, and in August 2024, they had their white wedding.
Mathis Eboue career
Eboue made his debut as a member of Watford’s development program back in September earlier this year. He has so far gathered three caps and one goal for the England under-16 team despite his Ivory Coast roots. Despite being just 15 years old, the young midfielder has been playing up an age group at Watford. In fact, the youngster has been thriving, which has attracted the attention of several larger clubs. The youngster even played for Watford’s Under-21 youth academy, despite being just 15 years old.
