Notably, she holds the unique distinction of being the first person to win the UEFA Women’s Champions League both as a player and a manager. She was a two-time recipient of the National Union of Professional Footballers (UNFP) Female Player of the Year award and, during her time in the U.S. Women’s Professional Soccer (WPS) league, earned Player of the Month and All-Star honors.
