Fans mistakenly thought Jenkins was Za Morant, Ja’s brother, due to their striking physical and playing similarities. A page on the “X” platform (previously known as Twitter) uploaded a video of Jenkins playing basketball. The query, “What Pro Player does he look like?” was posted. The rumour that he is Za Morant, Ja’s brother, was first spread by another account. Some fans just wouldn’t accept this made-up brother relationship, even if a lot of them bought it. In addition, many fans are discussing this incredible resemblance in comments and posts.
It is indisputable that fans’ responses were not all that positive. Chaunce Jenkins still gained some popularity from it, though. The striking likeness between Jenkins and Morant has gone unspoken until now. It won’t be shocking if a video of the two hooping together is shown to fans in the coming days. Notably, it remains to be seen how long Jenkins will be in the news.
Chaunce Jenkins is an Old Dominion University basketball player
Chaunce Jenkins, an Old Dominion University basketball player, was identified as Ja Morant’s brother Za Morant. Having been raised in Virginia, he attended Menchville High School, where it’s likely he picked up the sport of basketball. In addition to earning the title of Peninsula District Player of the Year, Jenkins made it into SportsCenter’s top 10 rankings.
Furthermore, he was an important member of the Wichita State basketball team before declaring his transfer to Old Dominion University. From 2020 to 2022, Jenkins participated in games while sporting a Wichita State Shockers men’s basketball uniform. He succeeded in becoming a roaster for the Monarchs in 2022, and he is currently serving as a guard.
Interestingly, he might play in the NBA. In 2024, he could very well be drafted given his extreme skill and popularity. Seeing two players who resemble each other so much play in the same league would be amazing. The so-called “Ja Morant – Za Morant” siblings’ basketball IQ and tenacity might make them the league’s dominant duo.
