Holland commands the team’s youthful players. In the Albert Phelan Cup final earlier this month, the Blues young squad defeated Fulham 5-0 with his help.
The results show that the teams for younger age groups have talented athletes.
Holland is given a fantastic opportunity despite the fact that usually only youngsters under the age of 18 and under the age of 21 are called up, even though he is three years younger than Chelsea’s youngest-ever Premier League player, Jody Morris.
He was spotted alongside Conor Gallagher and Mateo Kovacic. But it’s unlikely that Holland will anytime soon play for the first team.
Instead, his call-up might be partially explained by the absence of Chelsea’s Under-21 and Under-18 teams, whose players are routinely added to senior training to cover for absences and add experience.
Meanwhile, In their most recent Premier League match against Bournemouth, Chelsea defeated Bournemouth 3-1 to earn their first win under interim manager Lampard.
The win gave the team the much-needed boost they required to finish the season strong.
The Blues’ disjointed on-field performance this season has been one of the main contributors to their poor results.
It would be intriguing to see if Lampard can find the right people to connect with and help the team have a successful campaign’s end.
