Who is Charity Lawson?

Charity Lawson is a well-known American television personality. She has been in the news because she was recently revealed as the new star of the TV show “The Bachelorette.”

Her full name is Charity Sariah Lawson. She was born on December 30, 1995, in Columbus, Georgia, U.S. Her father’s name is David Lawson, and her mother’s name is Vickie Lawson. She also has three older siblings.

Charity Lawson completed her schooling at Columbus High School. Subsequently, she attended Auburn University, where she graduated with a bachelor of science degree in rehabilitation and disability in 2018. Later on, she also completed a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling in 2022.

She was a member of the Alpha Chi Omega sorority and graduated cum laude.

Her career

Charity Lawson is a therapist at a child advocacy center with extensive experience in family and marital therapy, child developmental issues, anxiety, and trauma. He worked with the Tri-County Children’s Advocacy Center in Dadeville, Alabama.

Later, she went on to try her hand at the reality television industry. She competed on season 27 of the well-known reality dating program “The Bachelor,” which starred Zach Shallcross, a tech executive. Despite making it to the final four, Shallcross ultimately decided to send her home after getting to know her family. On March 14, 2023, during the Women Tell All special, Lawson was announced as the next star of “The Bachelorette.”
