Chandan Yadav was arrested in the murder case of Harsh Yadav inside the Patna College Law campus
In front of the Law College in Patna, the capital city of Bihar, a student by the name of Harsh Raj was fatally beaten. Within a day, Chandan Yadav, the primary conspirator in this case, was apprehended by the police.
Chandan Yadav, who was taken into custody, was called “notorious” and “liner” by the police. As they produced him, the officers put a mask over his face. Jitendra Yadav, a resident of Amhara village in Bihta, is Chandan’s father. In all, about twelve criminals were engaged in Harsh Raj’s murder.

Chandan Yadav is a member of the All India Students Association (AISA), a socialist student group. Chandan Yadav can be seen requesting votes on social media for CPI(ML)L candidate Sandeep Saurav, a Mahagathbandhan contender from Nalanda. He has been arrested in the murder of 22 year old Harsh Raj inside the Patna College Law campus.

According to the latest information, Sandeep Saurav was elected as the Paliganj MLA in Patna. Before entering into politics, Chandan Yadav had quit his position as an assistant professor. He had studied journalism at Patna University. He also serves as Patna University’s Vice President of AISA. Moreover, Chandan had been staying at the Jackson Hostel for past two years. Additionally, he has canvassed Nalanda to get votes for the Mahagathbandhan candidate.

The reason for the murder is still unknown but Harsh Raj hosted Dandiya Night in honour of Dussehra in 2023. During the event, disagreements with groups, which led to the eventual murder of Harsh Raj.
