The French Prime Minister, Elisabeth Borne also belongs to the same party as Marlene Schiappa. She has criticized the latter for her appearance on the magazine cover. Elisabeth has told her that “ it wasn’t appropriate, especially during this period.”
Schiappa is best known for being a long-time advocate who fights for the rights of women. She defended her decision through a tweet on Saturday by saying, “Defending women’s right to have control of their bodies, that’s everywhere and all the time. Womene are free in France. With all my due respect to the hypocrites.” Schiappa is married to Cedric Bruguiere.
