On a security video of the incident, Briere can be seen ascending a staircase and chatting with another man. Then, without turning to face the wheelchair’s owner, he seemed to lift it from the top of the stairs and roll it down before returning to the bar. The wheelchair’s owner wasn’t using it at the time of the incident.
Who is Carson Briere?
Carson Briere is a Mercyhurst University student-athlete. He is the son of Daniel Briere, the Philadelphia Flyers’ interim general manager, and is almost 24 years old.

Grandparents: Robert Brière, Constance Brière

They claimed that the police are looking into the incident and student conduct.
Notwithstanding how awful the interaction was, Briere has a history of acting in such reprehensible ways. For breaking the rules, he was kicked off the Arizona State University hockey team in 2021. He subsequently moved to Mercyhurst University after being sacked.
Even though he has excelled for the squad, NHL teams considering the talented forward may be put off by his past troubles off the court.
The student with the disability had to be “physically carried” down the steps, according to individuals who later told the police. Many journalists reached out to the Flyers, but they didn’t reply.
