As of now, the representatives for the Republican politician revealed that said Caroline was doing okay last night. They further stated that she and her family be given privacy while dealing with the present situation.

Ted Cruz’s representatives made a statement sharing, “This is a family matter and thankfully their daughter is okay. There were no serious injuries. The family requests the media respect their daughter’s privacy at this time.”
Official Police Report
The Houston Police Department stated how they received reports of a 14-year-old with self-inflicted stab wounds just before 8 p.m. local time on Tuesday.
The report came from the River Oaks neighborhood, which is where Cruz lives with his wife, Heidi, and two daughters. At that time of the report, the teen was yet to be identified and was quickly taken to the hospital. Authorities haven’t revealed whether or not the 911 call was from a a member of Cruz’s family.

Caroline Cruz was born on April 14, 2008 and is the older daughter of Texas senator Ted Cruz. She currently resides in Texas, US, and is a popular social media influencer especially on TikTok. Caroline is currently aged at 14-years-old and is known to have strong political opinions especially against her father’s conservative views. She attends an elite private school in her hometown that is antiracist.
Strong Political Views
Back in January earlier this year, Caroline who was just 13-years-old at that time, came out as bisexual. She also proceeded to openly declare how she disagreed with much of her father’s political views.
She also mentioned how she hated it when people just assumed that she has her father’s same political views. Caroline insisted that she is strongly against his conservative notions.

The video has since gone viral and was one of the reason which shot her to fame.
Caroline has also called out the media for editing her shirt length on the family Christmas card. She revealed how she saw this as a downside of being raised in a political family.
