A total of 7 people including captain Anil Singh died in the helicopter crash. Purva Ramya, Urvi, Prem Kumar, Kala, Sujata, and Kartik were the passenger from Gujrat, Karnataka and Jharkhand.

According to a statement by an Officer of Rudraprayag District Disaster Management, Nandan Singh, the Chopper burst into flames close to Garud Chatti and Jungle Chatti
The Chopper named Bell 407 (VT-RPN), was operated by Aryan Aviation.
Speaking about Captain Singh, he had been an offshore pilot for nearly 15 years, flying multi engine Dauphin N-3 aircraft to Bombay High.
In a statement, an industry expert revealed, “He joined Aryan Aviation in September, about a month ago where he began flying the single-engine Bell407.
Expert further added, “He was an Army pilot and so he would have flown in the hills, but that was in the early stages of his career.
The 57-year-old pilot is survived by his wife Shireen Anandita and daughter Firoza Singh. He lived in a posh housing society in the Andheri suburb area of Mumbai.
As per a report by Zee News, a day before Singh was killed tragically, he spoke to his wife as he said, “Take care of my daughter. She is unwell,” and those were his last words.
His wife, Anandita, who’s a film writer by profession revealed while having an interview with PTI, “His last call to us was yesterday (Monday). My daughter is not keeping well. He told me to take care of her.”
Furthermore, in an interview with a local media, she revealed that she will be leaving for New Delhi along with her daughter to perform the last rites of her husband.
Anil was originally from Delhi’s East area, Shahdara, but for the past 15 years, he was living in Mumbai.
A Senior Directorate General of Civil Aviation Official, reportedly revealed that according to the preliminary investigations, the poor weather played a role in the helicopter crash.
Meanwhile, another Senior Offshore Pilot, who wishes to remain anonymous, reveals that, “Multi-engine helicopters engaged in offshore flying are equipped with autopilot and other stabilisation devices.
“It relies on cockpit instruments for navigation, and so poor visibility doesn’t pose as big a problem as say, when flying a single-engine helicopter visually over a hilly terrain.”
