Georgia Lorraine Ellenwood is a renowned Canadian heptathlete who was born on August 5, 1995, in Vancouver, British Columbia. She was raised in Langley, British Columbia and has established herself as a prominent figure in track and field. She mainly competes in the heptathlon, which includes seven events: 100m hurdles, high jump, shot put, 200m, long jump, javelin throw, and 800m.

Georgia has two siblings named Stuart Ellenwood, and Dean Spensley Ellenwood. Aside from spending her time training and playing various sports, Georgia enjoys outdoor activities, painting, and longboarding.

Georgia Ellenwood has been in a relationship with Ameer Abdullah but is currently single and unmarried. She has a net worth of $100,000-500,000.

Career

Georgia Ellenwood started off her athletic journey early on, competing in track and field from the young age of eight. She went on to make her international debut for Canada back at the 2011 World Youth Championships, where she finished 12th in the heptathlon.  Georgia attained several notable achievements throughout her junior career. These include a bronze medal at the 2013 Pan American Junior Championships, and a 7th place at the 2014 World Junior Championships.

After graduating high school, Georgia Ellenwood attended the University of Wisconsin, where she had an impressive collegiate career. During her time there, she became an eight-time NCAA All-American. She also went on to set school records in both the heptathlon and pentathlon. She notably won the NCAA heptathlon title in 2018 and was named the Big Ten Field Athlete of the Year.

This year, she won the Canadian Championships and the Pan American Combined Events Cup. Georgia Ellenwood gained prominence on the international level when she represented Canada at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. She managed to finish 20th in the heptathlon and has since competed in multiple World Championships and Pan American Games. Her best heptathlon score was 6314 points, which she attained during an event in Ratingen, Germany, in 2021.
