A doctor who was detained for giving allocating fake COVID-19 vaccinations has accused Camila of getting fake proof of immunisation.

After defeating Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova in the first round of the 2023 Australian Open on Tuesday, Camila Giorgi made an effort to address claims that she and her family had gotten phoney documentation of their COVID-19 vaccination.

In her post-match news conference, the former No. 26 in the world, who has minimal English language skills, was interviewed on several questions, including statements made by disgraced Dr Daniela Grillone, who was detained last year for giving fake COVID-19 vaccinations.

“I just did all my vaccination in different places.”

Giorgi acknowledged that she had only ever gotten one dosage of the COVID-19 vaccine from Grillone.

Giorgi consistently rejected requests for clarification regarding whether she had entered the country using the documents provided by Grillone and whether the vaccinations she claimed to have received were specifically for COVID-19, claiming that her very presence in the nation was proof that she had acted legally when dealing with Australian immigration officials.
