Since he was caught on November 22, Lil Cam has been in the Harris County jail. After a video of him standing next to Takeoff went viral just before he was shot, the teen was thought to be the main suspect. But there was also a supposed death hoax that said Lil Cam was shot and killed by an unknown man in Houston on November 3. Now, the police have confirmed that Lil Camo has been locked up since last week.

What Went Wrong With Takeoff? Did Lil Cam Murder Him?

A “Celebration of Life” was recently held for the late Migos rapper Takeoff. It was held at the State Farm Arena, which can hold more than 21,000 people. Justin Bieber and Drake both talked about the legacy of the man who was nominated for multiple Grammy Awards.

Takeoff, whose real name was Kirsnick Khari Ball and was 28 years old, was shot and killed in a Houston bowling alley on November 1. Shortly after this press release, there were a lot of videos on social media showing the fatal accident and what happened afterward. Before the shots were fired, you can hear Quavo and Takeoff’s uncle arguing and calling someone “disrespectful” in one clip. In another video, a person with a gun could be seen. Takeoff was then shot in the head and in the middle of his body. He died right away.

Police Chief Finner’s Inputs On Lil Cam Murder Case

The police said they “want to find justice” and asked the public for help with their investigation. This week, Chief Finner gave a vague update on the ongoing investigation. He said that he was “confident” that a suspect would be caught. And dispelled any idea that his department’s manhunt was coming to an end.

Now, police have said that Lil Cam is being questioned about the murder of Takeoff, but he is being held on charges that have nothing to do with the murder. Reports say that he was near Takeoff when he died and had a weapon that was against the law. Lil Cam was arrested in April on another felony charge, but he paid bail and was let go. His most recent arrest warrant is said to have broken the rules of his current bond. Keep reading to learn more about this case.
