Following the win, Brooke will now make preparations to represent Zimbabwe at Miss Universe 2023, set to take place in El Salvador this November.
Brooke Bruk Jackson wins Miss Universe Zimbabwe 2023
Brooke Bruk Jackson is the newly crowned winner of the Miss Universe Zimbabwe. She won the title ahead of Amanda Mpofu and Nokutenda Marumbwa, who are the first and second runners-up respectively. Following her win, she took to her Instagram account to express her gratitude and shared several images from the competition. She wrote in the caption:
I have gained this crown for our beautiful country, to love and to serve our people, to represent Zimbabwe Internationally and to show the world the uniqueness of Zimbabwe and Zimbabweans.”
She further added:
I want to be an example of grace, understanding and inspiration to the youth of Zimbabwe, to instill the spirit of ‘ubuntu’ and know that together we are strong and anything in life is possible.🇿🇼”
Brooke won a cash prize of $10,000 from Style by Minnie following her win. She also won a trip to Victoria Falls gifted by the Tourism and Hospitality Industry Ministry. She has since partnered with top fashion brands like Hilz Couture, Essentials by Tanya, Langa Cosmetics, Optimas Photography, iHelp and more.
Jackson received a huge round of applause during her question and answer segment. When the judges asked her what her biggest fear was, she responded that her biggest fear is to not have an impact in people’s lives. She further stated how she would like to inspire and transform anybody who enters her life with what is inside my heart.
Following her win, she spoke about being crowned Miss Universe Zimbabwe in an interview. She explained that although her “roles and duties” might have changed, she “has not changed as a person.” Jackson further shared about her growth throughout her pageant journey and her excitement to represent her country internationally.

Brooke Bruk Jackson is the newly crowned Miss Universe Zimbabwe 2023, who hails from Harare, Zimbabwe. She was born to Tracey Evans Bruk-Jackson and she is currently just 21 years old. During her childhood, Brooke studied at Chispite Senior School in Harare. She then graduated from the British Academy of Fashion Design, in London. Brooke later studied at the Beauty Therapy Institute in Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa.
Profession and career
Currently, Brooke works as a beauty therapist at Aesthetic Solutions Zim, in Harare besides working as a part-time model. Back in October 2022, Jackson signed with a Cape Town modelling talent agency called Boss Models South Africa.
