He is currently 50 years old and will take up the role starting on September 9, 2024. Brian previously served as chairman and CEO of another popular brand, Chipotle, up until August 31, 2024. Brian is a prominent figure in the food industry and has an impressive track record to prove his success.

Career and achievements
Brian Niccol started out his career at Procter & Gamble, where he worked for a decade, before joining Pizza Hut. While at Pizza Hut Niccol worked in various executive roles between the years 2005 and 2011. He later joined Taco bell from 2011 to early 2018, where he served in various roles including Chief Marketing and Innovation Officer, President, as well as the CEO.
Niccol was also a board member at Walmart Inc. with various positions on the boards of KB Home and Harley-Davidson. Brian Niccol eventually joined Chipotle in 2018 and became the Chairman of the Board by March of 2020. Throughout his time there, he achieved several accolades, including winning the Bloomberg’s ‘People Who Defined 2019’ and the Comparably’s ‘Best CEOs’ that same year.
Niccol also won the ‘Businessperson of the Year’ award by Fortune in 2019. Niccol will officially end his tenure at Chipotle, on August 31, 2024, and start his new role on September 9, 2024.
