MasterChef winner Brent Draper was born on May 2, 1989. He is the oldest of four children and was born in the small town of Beaudesert in rural Queensland.
Prior to living in Brisbane, Perth, and Palm Beach, he spent several years in the Northern Territory.

The 32-year-old Brent is a digital content creator, home cook, ambassador, mental health advocate, and television personality. He has also worked as a National Coles Ambassador for the past two years, developing recipes and content for the trailer.
According to his official website, his first job was concrete pumping before he did his apprenticeship as a Boilermaker in Brisbane.

Brent married Shonleigh in 2016. The couple first crossed paths in 2011 when they were neighbours. They are proud parents of their son Alfie and the family of three currently lives in Northern Rivers, New South Wales.
Brent Draper’s Passion For Cooking
According to Brent, he started cooking at 18 when he lived in a shared house with roommates who didn’t know how to turn on a stove. As he was assigned the task of preparing dinner, he found time to master his skills.
In 2021, he bought and renovated a bus to hit the road with his wife and their young son for the adventure of a lifetime, travelling around Australia.
With his hard work and dedication, he was awarded MasterChef Australia 2023.
