Brandon Tsay prevented the loss of many lives. Tran did fire at a dance studio based in Monterey Park, California on Saturday night. Around 10 people were killed and also 10 others were very seriously injured in the shooting case. He then fled in the scene and then entered the Lai Lai Ballroom and Studio in Alhambra, which is in the down street from the Monterey Park mass shooting scene.

Brandon’s response to the New York Times was, “There were only three people on the dance floor when the gunman entered into the building. He was looking at me and then he was looking around, not hiding that he was trying to do harm. His eyes were menacing, My heart sank, I knew I was going to die now,” Tsay stated.
In a bid to save others in the building, Tsay then quickly grabbed the barrel of the weapon and fought with the 72-year-old gunman before eventually disarming him. He further pointed the pistol at Tran and loudly spoke, “Go, get the hell out of here.”
Speaking of weapons the gunman carried, Tsay told New York Times, “How it was built and customized, I knew it was not for robbing money or anything else. From his body language, and his facial expression, i saw in his eyes, he was looking for people.”
Who is Brandon Tsay?
Brandon Tsay is a coder and he works for a ticket office at Lai Lai Ballroom and Studio in Alhambra which was set up by his grandparents. The name “Lai Lai”, meaning “come, come” in the language Chinese, it was chosen by his grandmother. Tsay’s older sister, Brenda, presently runs the business. Tsay is just 26 years old and his family lives in San Marino, California.
His parents reviewed the security camera footage of the ballroom and then surely confirmed that their son had bravely fought with the gunman alone and managed to disarm him.
