Brandon Ramos arrested for Eagles Super Bowl LIX victory parade shooting
Brandon Ramos is a 28-year-old man from Philadelphia who was recently arrested for his connection to a recent shooting. Ramos reportedly shot two individuals at the Philadelphia Eagles Super Bowl LIX victory parade celebrations on Friday. The Philadelphia police have since taken him into custody the following day, on Saturday.

A public shooting took place during the Eagles Super Bowl LIX victory parade celebrations on Friday, February 14, 2025. According to a preliminary investigation report, the suspect, now identified as Brandon Ramos, reportedly shot a 27-year-old woman as well as another woman aged 20.
The incident happened around 2:35 p.m. in block 2300 of the Ben Franklin Parkway, which was along the parade route. According to police officials, the parade had already passed by the location about an hour before the incident took place. The incident sparked off after a 27-year-old woman and her boyfriend attempted to cut in line for a portable toilet.
This then led to an altercation where Ramos punched the boyfriend, further escalating into a scuffle. Ramos eventually fired a gun and injured the 27-year-old woman alongside a 20-year-old bystander. Following the shootings, both victims were rushed to a medical tent at 23rd and Spring Garden streets, where they received first aid. Medical officials then transferred them both to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center and are currently hospitalized there in stable conditions. According to official reports, Ramos shot the 27-year-old in the left leg, while the 20-year-old was shot in her upper left thigh.

Brandon Ramos faces multiple charges
Authorities have reportedly issued multiple charges against Ramos, including aggravated assault, simple assault, and possessing an instrument of crime. He also received a further charge of recklessly endangering another person.
According to police, Brandon Ramos, 28, of Philadelphia, fired the gun which injured the 27-year-old woman and the 20-year-old woman.
