Who is Brandon Cottom?
Brandon Cottom, a former NFL player, is a Newtown, Pennsylvania native. If he makes it that far on Survivor 44, he will spend the following 26 days taking part in the Ratu tribe.
Born on December 21, 1992, he is 30 years old. He is 6 ft 2 in (1.88 m) tall.
Cottom played in 38 college football games during his four years at Purdue University. During his stay at the institution, he averaged 5.7 yards per carry and carried for 436 yards and six touchdowns.
After graduating from Purdue University, he was signed by the Seattle Seahawks in May 2015, however, he was released in August of the same year.
The organisation picked up the former fullback twice more before waiving him in 2017, and he left. He never made an appearance in a Seahawks game and spent the whole of the season on injured reserve.
At the end of the 2019 season, he announced his retirement, and he subsequently signed on with the Philadelphia Soul of the Arena Football League.
Brandon is currently a security specialist for a family security company, according to an interview with Parade.
He has reportedly always been a fan of Survivor and thought travelling to Fiji to take part in the show was an opportunity he couldn’t pass up.
