My grandad when he was alive, was always down York Hall in Bethnal Green in London watching the boxing (and betting on it).
He believed it was a true man’s sport, so when I started dating a boxer it was initially well received by my family.”
However, not just her grandpa but her former partner was also one of the reasons she got into this sport. She further told the outlet:
I’d say my true involvement happened with my ex-partner though, who is a professional fighter. I used to go to shows with him, watch him train and attend events. I fell in love with the sport!
