A month before his return to fight, boxing star Willie Limond is in critical condition in the hospital following a suspected seizure. After becoming gravely unwell while driving, he is said to be in a severe state.
A report in The Sun, states that he was taken to University Hospital Monklands, Airdrie, and is still in serious condition there.

In his last fight in September, the Scot faced and lost to Ricky Burns, who stopped him in the eighth round via technical knockout. He was scheduled to return to the ring in a match against Joe Laws in Newcastle at the beginning of May.
It is thought that he had a seizure a few hours before he was supposed to participate in a training session open to the public in Glasgow.
Former British, Commonwealth & European champion Willie Limond is understood to be in a critical condition after suffering a seizure whilst driving.

Who is Willie Limond?
Willie Limond is a Scottish professional boxer and former football player who was born on February 2, 1979 in Glasgow, Scotland. The 45-year-old stands 5 ft 3 in (1.60 m) tall.
In his career of 48 fights he has a fight record of 42 wins and six losses.
A look at Willie Limond’s career
Throughout his 48 fights, Limond has had an incredibly successful career, winning 42 of them via knockout. His titles include the British super lightweight, Commonwealth lightweight and super lightweight, and the EBU European Union super featherweight.
Initially, Limond played football, appearing in five league games with Albion Rovers during the 1998–1999 campaign however, he later then switched into boxing.
Limond began his professional boxing career in 1999 by defeating journeyman Lenny Hodgkins. He went on to defeat a number of superfeatherweights, including the notable triumph against Choi Tseveenpurev, who would go on to become a WBU featherweight champion and bid for the IBO world title.
The former Commonwealth lightweight and super featherweight champion will face Geordie Joe Laws on May 3 at the city’s Emirates Arena.
