Omar Jones is an American boxer who was born on November 7, 2002 in Orlando, Florida in the United States. The 21-year-old stands 180 cm (5 ft 11 in) tall.
He is currently doing his majors in business from the Valencia College. He did his schooling from Edgewater High School.

Omari was introduced to karate classes by his parents. Though he is now going to be an Olympian, Jones still feels compelled to finish his degree.

He competed in the 2021 AIBA World Boxing Championships and won the silver medal in the welterweight class. In addition to boxing, the 21-year-old is a keen fan of golf and is frequently seen on the courses with a backpack.
He had a slow start to the Olympics qualifying competition, but he quickly gained momentum and became into a deadly opponent.
