Along with Prabanjan J from Tamil Nadu, Bora Varun Chakravarthi earned the honorable top spot in the NEET UG 2023 AIR. Both candidates received the highest possible score of 720 and a remarkable percentile of 99.9999019.
At this year’s NEET-UG test, Chakravarthi, who is from Andhra Pradesh, stood out as a shining star. He shared the coveted top spot thanks to his outstanding effort and 720 perfect scores. Yet he received AIR 2 as a result of the tie-breaker method used by NTA.
According to the NTA’s tie-breaker process, which is used for applicants who receive identical scores, the candidates are ranked according to their marks in biology, chemistry, and physics. If the marks are the same, then the higher rank will get the higher rank. A similar thing happened in the cases of Bora Varun Chakravarthi and Prabanjan J.

Who is Bora Varun Chakravarthi?
Bora Varun Chakravarthi is an Indian student from Andhra Pradesh. He has been in the news because he recently secured a perfect score and an AIR 2 in NEET UG 2023.
He was born on 7 October 2005 in Andhra Pradesh, India’s Thotada Village, Polaki Mandal, and Srikakulam District. He belongs to the Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) of the Other Backward Class (OBC) caste. His mother’s name is Anjali Bora, whereas his father’s name is Rajesh Bora. His parents are also educators.
Bora Varun Chakravarthi did his schooling in Vijayawada. Subsequently, he attended the Sri Chaitanya Coaching Center in Hyderabad.
He recently passed the NEET UG 2023 exam with a perfect score. He previously achieved second place in the agricultural stream of the Engineering Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Exam (EAMCET) in June 2023 by earning a total of 151 marks in the examinations.
