Bibhav Kumar who was Arvind Kejriwal’s PA has been asked to vacate his Type VI bungalow by Delhi government’s Vigilance Departmen
This bungalow was allotted to him near Kejriwal’s official residence.
Bibhav Kumar, was serving as Manish Sisodia’s associate before becoming Arvind Kejriwal’s private secretary. He has been with the AAP since the start and has contributed significantly to the growth of the party.

On Wednesday, Bibhav Kumar who was private secretary to Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was fired by the Delhi government’s Vigilance Department from his position.
The legal team of AAP is considering potential grounds for challenging order. As per the legal team, the timing of this order by Vigilance order is unlawful before the CAT.

As per AAP workers, Kumar has been the intermediary between Kejriwal and others for as long as anyone can recall. Apart from CM’S wife, he was among the two people who were given permission by the court to visit Arvind every day while he was detained. Kumar was always careful to avoid taking up too much attention and he was valued for this trait.
Before the IAC (India Against Corruption) campaign, Manish Sisodia formed the NGO Kabir where Bibhav worked. He then joined Kejriwal’s Public Cause Research Foundation (PCRF). Her served as a coordinator at PCRF.
On February 27, 2015, Bibhav was hired by Kejriwal as his private secretary on a co-terminus basis. Later on in February 2020, when the AAP’s first full term in power in Delhi came to an end, the General Administrative Department gave consideration to Kumar’s appointment. Over the years, he emerged as “Arvind Kejriwal’s eyes and ears.”
The complainant Mahesh Pal, who was serving at the development authority back in 2007, filed a case stating that an FIR was lodged under sections 353/504/506 of the IPC against four individuals, including Bibhav Kumar, for obstructing a public servant from performing their duties and the FIR also mentioned that despite the non-arrest of Bibhav Kumar and another accused, Rajeev Kumar, a charge sheet was submitted to the Chief Judicial Magistrate’s Court.
AAP insiders have claimed that following the Vigilance Department’s order, the party is getting ready to file a defence with the Central Administrative Tribunal about the termination of his employment.
“From Kejriwal ji’s personal phone to the doses of insulin required to keep the CM’s diabetes at bay, Bibhav bhai remained his shadow till he was sent behind bars,” an AAP worker said.
As per another leader from AAP, Bibhav managed communications for Kejriwal and Sisodia and kept a track of the party’s growth. He was also made in charge of the Chief Minister’s household and oversaw his office at the Secretariat.
