As per a report by TMZ, the player was arrested on Friday at around 3:30 am. The police department or Chicago has now stated that he was escorted out of the restaurant when he got physical.

As per the same outlet, Gordon allegedly hit a 29-year-old security guard on his face while pushing another 21-year-old male to the ground.

As per a report by Chicago Tribune, the 39-year-old Gordon has been charged with battery making physical contact and misdemeanor battery causing bodily harm.

According to the Chicago PD, they responded to a 911 call after they were reported of a disturbance by a man at a local McDonald’s.

For those who are unfamiliar, let us tell you Ben Gordon is a British-born American basketball player.

In his career as a professional basketball player, he has played 11 seasons in the National Basketball Association. As of now, he is the only player ever who has won the NBA 6th man of the year Award.

Ben has completed his high school in Mount Vernon, New York. During his high school time, he used to play basketball for Mount Vernon Knights.

Later he went on and joined the University of Connecticut, where he immediately got into the basketball team. During his time at the University, he won the National championship in 2004.

Following this game, he was picked up by the Chicago Bulls. For the Bulls, he played for around 5 seasons in total and then moved to the Detroit Lions in 2009.

After playing 3 seasons with Lions, he went on and joined hands with Charlotte Bobcats, with whom he played until 2014.

And eventually turned to Orlando Magic for a deal of $9 million. However, their deal was only for 2 years, but the team cut their contract in between and let him go in 2015.

Coming back to the recent reports of the player, these reports of former NBA player’s hitting two security guards and being arrested came after he was recently accused of punching his 10 year old son at the Airport for dropping a book.
