Here is all about who Justin Patton is as he replies to the John Wall interview, know his salary and net worth

After being chosen first overall in the 2010 Draft, John Wall was the man during his time with the Washington Wizards. Sadly, injuries have slowed down the formerly lightning-quick point guard, a five-time All-Star, in recent years.

Before joining the Rockets in 2020, Wall missed more than two years of basketball, and in his first season there, he experienced a grade 2 hamstring strain that forced him to retire. He joined the Clippers last year after it was mutually agreed he would not play in the 2021–2022 campaign.

He had been able to maintain a reasonable level of health throughout the season, but he was recently given a two-week absence due to an abdominal injury.

What happened?

John Wall mentions Justin Patton in a recent interview.

Wall’s career is full of “what ifs,” and everyone must agree that his stint in Houston was a complete waste of time.

Wall was only able to play in 40 games with the Rockets, and even when he was fit, it was decided that he would sit out as the team underwent reconstruction and groomed young guards like Kevin Porter Jr. and Jalen Green.

The Rockets’ tanking and the 20-game losing streak were topics Wall recently covered on the Run Your Race podcast. Given the kind of players they had on the floor, the 32-year-old made the argument that the organisation wasn’t interested in winning. Justin Patton is used as an illustration in John Walls’s analysis.

Wall said: “I mean we lost twenty in a row.” He further said, “We was trying to lose on purpose. Tanking, yeah. Like, we started starting [players] name Justin Patton.”

Patton replies back to Wall’s comments on Twitter

After learning about John Wall’s most recent comments, Justin Patton replied on Twitter.

He tweeted the video of Wall talking about him with the caption: “I thought we were cool @johnwall”.

The 25-year-old from Omaha, Nebraska, also played for the Houston Rockets and Philadelphia 76ers as Wall’s teammate. He was also a member of the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Patton played 19.0 minutes per game on average for the Rockets, averaging 5.7 points, 3.8 rebounds, 1.1 assists, 0.9 steals, and 1.1 blocks. The Rockets went 1-12 during the time that the 6ft 11in centre participated, starting six of the thirteen games.

In four NBA seasons, Patton only made 22 appearances, his final NBA game was a Rockets’ victory. He signed a contract with Hapoel Eilat of the Israeli Basketball Premier League in 2021, and as of right now, he is competing for Cholet Basket in the French LNB Pro A in France.
