Grace Beyer, the underappreciated standout from the University of Health Sciences & Pharmacy in St. Louis, Missouri, had her incredible career come to an end on 2nd March after her team lost in the American Midwest Conference Tournament, the semifinals for women.

With 33 points in her last game, Beyer made a lasting impression and increased her total NAIA collegiate career points to an incredible 3,961. Remarkably, Beyer has surpassed Clark, outscoring her by 276 points to take the top spot in college basketball right now.

Notably, regardless of division, she is ranked sixth in college basketball history and owns the all-time NAIA record. However, despite her monumental achievements, Beyer remains modest about her records and acknowledges the attention Clark receives. Speaking about this, she said,

Grace Beyer is a college basketball player and a pharmacist. She has been in the news because Grace quietly broke Caitlin Clark’s scoring record, taking the top spot in college basketball.

She was born and brought up in Eagle, Wisconsin, USA. Her father’s name is Robert Beyer and her mother’s name is Julie Beyer. Grace also has two elder brothers, Brian and Daniel.

Grace Beyer did her schooling at Mukwonago High School. Afterward, she enrolled in the University of Health Sciences & Pharmacy in St. Louis, Missouri, where she is pursuing a doctorate in pharmacy. As a result, Grace usually wears a white lab coat.

She is currently 23 years old with her height at 5 feet 8 inches.

Beyer completed her career with a women’s NAIA-record 3,961 points and became the NAIA all-time leader when she passed Miriam Walker-Samuels in UHSP’s final regular season game a week ago.

Her career

At Mukwonago High School, Grace Beyer gained a position on the varsity team as a freshman, and that year the team advanced to the state championship game. During her sophomore year in college, she played No. 5 for the university basketball team.

Over the previous two years, the Eutectics won at least 20 games each, and she was their leader. Her score increased along with the wins, sometimes in bouts of 40 or more points at a time.

Grace Beyer scored 51 points in the Eutectics’ 69-62 victory against William Woods earlier this season. She also set a career best of 59 points in a game against Columbia last year. Throughout her last collegiate basketball season, Beyer has averaged over 34 points per game and led her team in rebounds, steals, and assists.
