The game which was being held at Paycor Stadium in Cincinnati saw Hamlin collapsing on the field after he stood up following a routine legal tackle in the first quarter of the Week 17 match-up against Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins.
Following the aftermath, the 42-year-old analyst appeared on the First Take on Tuesday morning, Jan 3, to converse about the terrifying event.
During the conversation, Scott criticized Higging’ collision with Damar. He stated that “Right before the tackle, he lowers his helmet and throws his body into his chest.”

For those who are unfamiliar with the former footballer, let us tell you, Bart, who serves as the ESPN NFL analyst was born in Detroit on August 18, 1980.
Scott was a linebacker in eleven seasons in the NFL. He played college football for the Southern Illinois Salukis. Later in 2002 he was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Baltimore Ravens for the NFL.
In the same year, he even made his NFL debut, for the Carolina Panthers. In 2005, the professional player played in a total of 16 games and made 10 starts during the season after Ray Lewis missed his time due to a hamstring injury.
In 2006, he got the chance to play in the Pro Bowl. And three years later, he signed a contract with the New York Jets after spending his first 7 seasons playing for the Ravens.
In 2009, he once again became a free agent and was demanded by both the Ravens and the New York Jets. However, the player went on and signed a contract with the New York Jets on February 27, 2009, for a total of 6 years with a signing amount of $48 million.
