The youth academy of FC Barcelona is known as La Masia de Can Planes, but it’s typically just referred to as La Masia.
The academy has almost 300 young athletes in it. 2010 saw La Masia become the first youth academy to train Andres Iniesta, Lionel Messi, and Xavi, the three Ballon d’Or finalists in one year.

Toni Fernandez, also known as Antonio Fernandez was born on July 15th, 2008 in Rubi, Barcelona, Spain.

Toni Fernandez is a talented attacker who can also play in the midfield, he has made waves in the club and among the supporters this season, showcasing his versatility even more. He is is a left-footed striker and right-winger.
A look at Toni Fernandez’s career so far
Toni began playing football at a young age for Juventud 25 de Septiembre, a local team. At the age of six, Espanyol extended a scholarship offer to him and accompanied him on team Escola RCDE to competitions.
Toni eventually enrolled in and spent a few years at Espanyol’s academy. Marc Serra and Albert Puig couldn’t get the club to approve of their offer for him to join Barca until he became ten years old. Meanwhile, Guille Fernรกndez, Toni’s cousin, received an invitation to join the club.
Toni eventually signed on with the Alevin C (U11) club at La Masia. He advanced to Infantil B in 2020, which is Football 11’s initial step at La Masia. With an incredible season that saw him score 11 goals and dish out numerous assists, the youngster dispelled all of theย fears.
He continued and increased his numbers in the next season. obtaining at least six assists and 15 goals for Infantil A. He then received a promotion to Cadet B in 2022 following his stunning performance.
Toni received a direct promotion from Cadet B to Juvenil B in the 23/24 season and he already has six goals and two assists for the season. The player is all swt to sign his professional contract at the end of the season, reportedly. Talking about his international team, he is a Spain Youth NT.
