Nahid Rana is a young and upcoming Bangladeshi cricketer who was born on October 2, 2002, in Chapainawabganj District, Bangladesh. He mainly plays as a right-arm fast bowler for the Rajshahi Division cricket team in domestic cricket. The youngster is renowned for consistently hitting the 150 kmph mark ever since bursting on to the scene earlier this year in March during a Test series against Sri Lanka.
He can hit 150kph on occasion and averages 140-145kph for most of his spells.
During the 2nd Innings of Pakistan of 2nd Test, Nahid Rana bowled 152.0 KPH, the fastest ball delivered by a Bangladeshi pacer in international cricket.

Career and stats
Rana never played cricket until about just four years ago when his elder brother enrolled him in the Clemon Rajshahi Cricket Academy. Since then, Rana made the most of it and eventually made his first-class debut in October 2021. He quickly made a mark the following season, as he took 32 wickets.
The following season, Rana achieved even greater heights as he took over 30 wickets in the National Cricket League. Rana eventually earned a contract with Khulna Tigers in the Bangladesh Premier League, where he impressed the selectors and secured a national call-up for the Test side. Rana has already secured 11 wickets from his first three Tests matches along with some memorable performances. The youngster recently gained more prominence following his performance against Indiaโs batting line-up at the IND vs BAN 1st Test match in Chennai.
