In the World Cup 2022 Litton Das played a superb knock agaisnt India. He scored 62 runs at a rapid pace in a high-scoring chase of 184 runs. Litton who was opening the innings along with Shanto took in the Indian bowlers and scored a quickfire 21-ball fifty.

Litton Das was born on 16th February 1994 in Dinajpur, Bangladesh. Das started his career with school-level cricket and later played for the Rangpur division in domestic cricket.
2015 was the breakthrough year for the 27-year-old as he got his maiden national call-up. His amazing performance while playing for East Zone in the Bangladesh Cricket League earned him the call-up.
His both ODI and Test debut were agaisnt India. In his Test debut, Bangladesh recorded their lowest test team total. Despite the team’s poor performance Litton’s 25 off 51 impressed everyone.
In the Dhaka premier league of 2017 Litton Das scored 752 runs in 14 innings which was the most by any batter.
Litton Kumer Das was born in Dinajpur to a Bengali Hindu family with his height at 5 feet 7 inches. In September 2019, Das married his girlfriend Devashri Biswas Sonchita who is an agriculturist.
