Azharuddin Abdul is a former head of Civil Aviation based in Malaysia. Azharuddin Abdul Rahman served in the position from 2015 to 2018. He oversaw the development and implementation of different policies and initiatives for enhancing safety, security, and efficiency in the country’s aviation industry.
Before his appointment as head of Civil Aviation, Azharuddin Abdul had extensive experience in the aviation sector, having worked in different capacities over years. He started his career being a pilot with Malaysia Airlines in 1983, where Abdul has served for more than three decades, rising through the ranks for becoming a captain in early 1993.
During his time at Malaysia Airlines, Azharuddin Abdul Rahman also worked in different management positions, such as the Chief Pilot and the Director of Operations.
