McGregor faces s*xual assault allegations
UFC fighter Conor McGregor has received a demand letter from the lawyer of a woman who claims that McGregor s*xually assaulted her right after Game 4 of the recently held NBA Finals game in Miami on June 9.
Aside from the UFC fighter, the Miami Heat, the Kaseya Center, and the NBA have all received separate letters. In the letters, the attorney has accused them all of being complicit in the alleged assault and violence. The letter also accuses them of aiding and abetting the purported kidnapping.
According to the demand letters, McGregor and his security guard “forced” the victim into a restroom after the Denver Nuggets’ game against the Miami Heat on June 9.
The letter states:
Mr. McGregor, aided and abetted by the NBA and Miami Heat Kaseya security, had the victim physically forced via security into the men’s bathroom, separating her from her friend and trapping her inside with Mr. McGregor and his security guard.”
The letter states that after forcing the victim inside the restroom, McGregor allegedly tried to violently kiss her, before forcing her to perform oral s*x on him. The woman reportedly tried he best to leave, but McGregor pinned her against the wall. The letters state that McGregor then ripped her pants and attempted to sodomize her. The women allegedly tried to escape and elbowed ‘Notorious’ multiple times.
Following the accusations, McGregor’s attorney, Barbara R. Llanes said in a statement through McGregor’s PR firm:
The allegations are false. Mr. McGregor will not be intimidated”

Barbara Rachel Llanes is the attorney of UFC legend Conor McGregor and a partner at Gelber Schachter & Greenberg. She was born in Cuba before emigrating and settling in Miami as a child. Prior to her current job, she has lived and worked overseas in Venezuela, Brazil and Mexico. She can speak both Spanish and Portuguese fluently.

Barbara earned her law degree from the Stanford University School of Law. While studying there, she was also a senior editor for Stanford’s Journal of International Law. Prior to that she obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Spanish from Emory University. During her time there, she was Captain and MVP of the Cross-Country team. She also won the NCAA Institutional Woman of the Year.

Barbara Rachel Llanes is a former federal prosecutor who is currently a partner with the esteemed law firm of Gelber Schachter & Greenberg since 2021. Before joining the firm, headed the Department of Justice’s Office of Overseas Prosecutorial Development Assistance and Training (OPDAT) in Mexico. The department is a division of the U.S. Department of Justice and she served for over eleven years. Llanes also previously worked as a litigator at Paul Weiss in New York.
