Vithya Ramraj is an Indian track athlete who was born on September 20, 1998 in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. Her father is a truck driver while her mother Meena is a housewife. She has an identical twin named Nithya, who is also an athlete. Vithya is currently employed under the Indian Railways. During her childhood, Vithy’s mother enrolled both her and her sister at the Erode Girls Sports School to let the girls continue their dream of playing hockey. However, both Vithya her sister Nithya eventually changed to athletics.

Vithya Ramraj is currently 23 years old and stands at a height of 163cm.

Vithya Ramraj athletics career

During her early years, Vithya Ramraj competed in the 100 and 200 meter sprints up to 2017. However, she eventually began competing on the 400-meter hurdles and the 400-meter races alongside the 100-meter races. She has so far competed in the following competitions in 2023:
