Morgan Elliot Rogers is an English professional footballer who was born on July 26, 2002 in Halesowen, United Kingdom. Rogers was born to parents, Deborah and Howard, as a middle son in a family of three brothers. He currently plays as a forward for Aston Villa in the Premier League. Morgan started out his footballing journey with the West Bromwich Albion academy, and he has represented England across all the youth levels up to U21.

Rogers spent his early years at local junior school Colley Lane Primary before attending Sandwell Academy secondary.
Morgan Rogers career
Rogers started out his youth career at West Bromwich Albion’s youth academy, and made his senior professional debut for the club on February 6, 2019. Just a few months later, Rogers signed for Manchester City on 1 August 2019, where he was a part of the club’s Elite Development Squad (EDS).
At the start of 2021, in January, Rogers went out on loan to Lincoln City in the League One. He made his debut for the club during a match against Peterborough United just a few days later. Rogers scored three goals from seven games in March, winning the EFL Young Player of the Month award. In total, he made 28 League One appearances and scored a total of six goals and four assists.
The following season, Rogers signed for AFC Bournemouth on loan, scoring just one goal in 17 appearances. Rogers then returned back to City’s EDS squad in the beginning of 2022-23 before going out on loan again on January 4, 2023 to Blackpool. He scored just one goal for the club during a 1–0 win against Norwich City.
Rogers recorded impressive underlying numbers, ranking in the top 12 per cent of attackers that play under the big five European domestic leagues. Rogers finally joined Middlesbrough last summer for a £2million deal. He scored a total of seven goals in 33 appearances for the club across six months.
Then, last season, Villa eventually secured Morgan Rogers for a transfer worth £15million for a five-and-a-half-year deal. Manchester City received 25% of the fee, due to a sell-on clause in the original transfer move to Middlesbrough. He has since been nothing short of impressive and scored his first goal against Brentford earlier this year in April.
