Rory Wilson is a Scottish football player who was born on January 5, 2006 in Girvan, Scotland and is a forward for Aston Villa at the moment.
A look at Rory Wilson’s career so far
Since moving to Birmingham from the Rangers Academy in the summer of 2022, Wilson has made appearances for Villa’s U18 and U21 teams. At the age of eight, Wilson enrolled in the Rangers academy in Scotland. Having made good progress in the academy, he was called up to the ‘B’ squad at the age of fifteen after scoring 49 goals in the 2021–2022 season.
In December 2019, Wilson committed himself to Rangers on an amateur contract. It was a three-year rolling deal, and if he had chosen to join another Scottish team, the Scottish FA would have been his new employer.
Wilson reportedly agreed to a minimum £350,000 agreement after the two teams reopened talks, and he joined Aston Villa in July 2022. He signed his first professional deal with Aston Villa on January 6, 2023.
Wilson has demonstrated remarkable ability at scoring goals. In 20 appearances for Villa’s U18 team the previous season, he scored an amazing fifteen goals. His goal total this season has surpassed all previous records, with an incredible 36 goals for both club and country in 42 games.
