Have a look at Lamont Butler sister, Asasha Lache Hall as the SDSU player honours his late sister during March Madness in 2023
SDSU advanced to the NCAA championship game thanks to Lamont Butler’s game-winning jump shot in the team’s 72-71 triumph over Florida Atlantic.
Butler made the play of the tournament, which helped SDSU make history and earned the fifth-largest turnaround in Final Four history.
Who is Asasha Lache Hall late sister of Lamont Butler and cause of death
Butler was incredibly appreciative of the play and the win it brought about. In his post-game reflections on the experience, the SDSU sophomore claimed he felt the ghost of his late sister Asasha Lache Hall, who was shot and killed in January 2022.
“I think about her every day. Ever since she passed. She was one of my biggest supporters, and I know she’s up there happy right now, watching me play the game that I love. And I think she was with me with that shot. She probably guided the ball in a little bit. I miss her, and I’m just happy I’m able to do this for her.”
He further said that he recently made the decision to play basketball again in order to find happiness. His life took a crazy turn when he learned that his sibling had died.
However, his coaches and teammates allowed him time to simply decide what he wanted to do.
Butler made one of the most important shots in March Madness history as a tribute to his late sibling.
Asasha Lache Hall frequently visited SDSU games to cheer on her younger sibling Lamont as he advanced in the ranks.

To defeat UConn, SDSU might once more require a Lamont Butler miracle
No. 5 SDSU is a huge underdog in the 2023 NCAA title game. No. 4 UConn, who has dominated every opponent they have encountered in the playoffs thus far, will be their opponent.
However, SDSU might give themselves a good chance if they can depend on their defence and make the game scrappy.
They acted in that way before Lamont Butler made the shot that won the game against FAU. Despite trailing by 14 points at one point in the second half, San Diego managed to mount a turnaround by making significant saves and scoring in transition.
