After taking full-time shots with a camera he borrowed from the club photographer, Gunners captain Odegaard was urged to “get down the tunnel” by Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher.

Former Liverpool defender Carragher, a co-commentator for the game said, as Odegaard celebrated taking photographer camera:

Odegaard replied, as per BBC:

“If you’re not allowed to celebrate when you win a game, when are you allowed to celebrate?

We’re happy with the win and we’ll stay humble.”


Legendary Liverpool player Carragher responded with an iconic Neil Warnock quote in the dressing room. On his X account, he wrote:

By all means, enjoy it, but enjoy it by being disciplined!”

He also changed his profile picture of Odegaard with the camera from the game against Liverpool.

Meanwhile, Macfarlane was caught having team talk after the game following Odegaard capturing him. He said:


This is my club. I f*****g love this football club. And I f******g love all of you.”

“When you go out, first f***ing tackle, listen to the crowd. They will f***ing be on you straight away.

“Win every tackle. When you score, look in their faces. Look at their emotion, look how much they love you. Show them how much you love them, ok?”

Who is Stuart MacFarlane?

Stuart MacFarlane is the club’s chief photographer and lifelong fan and has earned the respect and affection of the team’s supporters. He has been capturing for the club since 1991 and became the full time photographer in 2001.

Part of the upcoming All Or Nothing series, his motivational speech was captured on video by Amazon Prime. In 2014, he also provided images for the book “Invincibles,” which focused on Arsene Wenger, club’s legendary manager.


He recently tweeted:
