It’s also estimated his map was used 250million times in one week and as the Londoner gets a royalty fee every time it’s played, that meant his nightly earnings peaked at 10,000 to 15,000 dollars (ยฃ8k to ยฃ12k).

A look at Reuell Walters’ career

At seven years old, Walters had a stint with Peckham Town after playing for a “Brazilian football school” in London for a short while before it closed.

After playing for Unique FA for two seasons, Jamie Waller, the founder of Unique FA, suggested that he try out for Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur. Both clubs extended offers to Walters, who, at the age of ten, enrolled in the Tottenham Hotspur academy in March 2015, just before his family relocated to Potters Bar, a town north of central London.

He played his final match for Spurs in March 2019 after four years with the team; his contract expired in June of the same year. Walters picked Manchester United above rival team Manchester City in the process. However, the Premier League denied Walters’ registration because United had already met their quota and departing players were still registered at the time.

Walters signed with the Gunners as an under-16 on October 19, 2020, after the Premier League investigated to make sure he hadn’t been tapped up. In February 2022, he committed to the club on his first professional deal.

Talking about his international career, he is qualified to compete for Jamaica, Germany, or England. In the 2023 UEFA European Under-19 Championship qualification, Walters made his debut for the England U19 team on March 22, 2023, in a 1-0 victory over Hungary at the Bescot Stadium.
