In just 18 months from its founding in 2022, “Dil Foods” has empowered over 65 small eateries in Bangalore and Hyderabad with its virtual brands. At first, Arpita asked for Rs 50 lakhs for a 0.5% ownership stake in the restaurant with the goal of building a sustainable restaurant ecosystem.

With a background as a biotech engineer and experience at Himalayan Drugs, Reliance Capital, and Swiggy, Arpita Aditi strategically leveraged her expertise. The successful deal, sealed at Rs 2 crore for a 2.67 percent equity stake, included investors Radhika Gupta, Vineeta Singh, Peyush Bansal, and Ritesh Agarwal.

Arpita Aditi is a biotech engineer and an entrepreneur. She has been in the news because she recently appeared on Shark Tank India season 3 and sealed a deal with four investors.

After completing her schooling, she attended the Manipal Institute of Technology, where she did engineering in biotechnology.

Arpita Aditi began her work at Biocon as a quality control specialist before moving on to The Himalaya Drug Company as a research scientist and obtaining expertise in research and development.

Her career path took her to positions like National Partnerships at Swiggy and Corporate Sales Manager at Reliance General Insurance. She co-founded Nutnbolt Business Solution and currently leads Dil Foods, making a mark in the virtual restaurant space.

While her DOB and net worth isn’t known, Dil Foods was valued at ₹14 crores and raised ₹1 crore in investment in April of 2022. They obtained an extra ₹40 lakhs in September 22nd.
