The Dutchman’s move to Tottenham Hotspur has been heavily rumoured to happen in the next weeks, know about who is Arne Slot, his tactics and formation
The Tottenham Hotspur club, for the next season, is not expected to resemble the one that struggled through this tiresome season even remotely.
Who is Arne Slot new Tottenham manager candidate, tactics, playing style, formation, football career stats
Within the next month or two, Scott Munn is anticipated to be appointed as Spurs’ new director of football, and chief football officer. Munn will take the club’s daily management decisions away from chairman Daniel Levy.
The addition of fresh staff with creative ideas and, if Arne Slot is chosen as head coach, a totally different structure from the one that this lopsided squad was constructed for under Antonio Conte, will lead to a shift in the people both on and off the pitch.
Arne Slot, favourite to join Tottenham Hotspurs
Arne Slot, the head coach of Feyenoord, is the current front-runner to become Tottenham’s new manager after the 2022–23 Premier League season.
According to The Evening Standard, Slot will meet with Feyenoord officials on May 24. The club reportedly gave him a “lucrative” new offer to test his level of dedication after he assisted them in winning the Eredivisie title.
There have been many stories in the UK over the past few days indicating that Slot would be open to going to England and that Spurs were drafting an official approach.
The Daily Mail has learned that Spurs are willing to pay Slot’s €6 million (£5.2 million/$6.5 million) release clause at Feyenoord in exchange for a three-year contract. This information was gathered through a story from De Telegraaf. The Athletic claimed on May 22 that Spurs were ready to officially contact Feyenoord regarding Slot.
Clubs Arne Slot managed before
Slot took over as the manager of AZ Alkmaar in July 2019, but the Covid-19 pandemic prompted the suspension of his debut campaign midway through. AZ finished second during the postponed 2019–20 season, however, the club discovered that Slot had been in contact with Feyenoord in December 2020, leading to his dismissal from his job.
Slot’s new role at Feyenoord was confirmed two weeks later, however, Dick Advocaat, an experienced manager, would serve out his contract before Slot started working there at the end of the 2020–21 season.
Slot led Feyenoord from fifth place under Advocaat to third in their first season, with Erik ten Hag’s Ajax winning the title.
Along with leading the team to its first European final since 2002, when they lost to Jose Mourinho’s Roma in the UEFA Europa League Conference final, Slot also won the Eredivisie Manager of the Year award.

The first league title since 2017 would be a fitting manner for Slot to leave Feyenoord if he chooses to take Ten Hag’s Premier League route.
How many trophies has Arne Slot won?
The 2022–23 Eredivisie was Slot’s first notable managerial victory; the year prior, he finished second in the Europa Conference League.
He won the Dutch second tier twice while playing for Zwolle.
What is Arne Slot’s playing style and key players?
Spurs fans are interested to see what type of play Slot may implement at the club after Ten Hag’s excellent first season at United showed that Eredivisie success could be converted into effectiveness in the Premier League.
Slot is likely to go from Conte’s 3-4-3 system to a more structured 4-2-3-1 setup at Spurs based on his preference at Feyenoord. His system operates according to the conventional understanding, with the two defensive midfielders covering the defence as the two full-backs push up high.
Additionally, he looks to use Justin Bijlow, his goalkeeper, as a springboard to start attacks with direct passes into forward players, giving advanced midfielders the opportunity to quickly link up with play behind the initial press of the opposition.
