On April 5, Ndembo competed in a Team Combat League match against Nestor Santana in Florida, however, his match, regrettably, ended tragically. After one of the opponent’s moves, Ndembo fell amd failed to get up and needed a quick medical emergency.

Who is Ardi Ndembo

Ardi Ndembo is a heavyweight boxer who was born in Brazzaville, Congo and currently resides in Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa. The 27-year-old stands 6′ 7″ tall.

A look at Ardi Ndembo’s career

Throughout his professional career which started in 2019 profesionally, Ndembo has engaged in eight fights, winning all eight of them via knockout. He got inspired towards boxing at just 14 as he used to get bullied by the kids in his school.

From a young age, he was told stories of the Rumble in the Jungle fight. He was a great admirer of fighters such as Muhammad Ali, George Foreman, and Evander Holyfield. Ndombe moved to Cape Town and enrolled in the Future Champs athlete development programme to hone his boxing skills.

Along with fighting in over 100 amateur bouts, he earned two bronze medals in the All Africa Games, demonstrating his boxing prowess and giving him the confidence to fight professionally.

Due to his representation by Jeremy Bean and his signing with Global Boxing Stars, Ndembo was well-known throughout the world and dominant in his all eight bouts until the last one where he unfortunately fell.

Apart from boxing career, Ndembo also participated actively in charitable endeavours. He collaborated with organisations like Future Champs to initiate the process of constructing gyms in Sub-Saharan African countries.

Undefeated with an 8-0 record, Ndembo has been so dominant that 7 of those victories were via KO.
