Aqib Ahmed Renzu, an SMC corporator hailing from Nishat, Srinagar, has been apprehended by Srinagar Police on charges encompassing s*xual harassment, the intent to outrage modesty, and online stalking. The courageous victim has presented compelling technical evidence in support of these allegations. FIR No 50/2023 U/S 354, 354A, 354D has been lodged at RM Bagh Police station.
The Indian Criminal Code’s sections 354 (relating to assault or criminal force on a woman with the purpose to insult her modesty), 354A (concerning s*xual harassment), and 354D (concerning stalking) have been used to officially record this case at the Ram Munshi Bagh Police Station in Srinagar.
