Social media influencers Insha Ghai Kalra and Ankit Kalra gained fame for their humorous couple reels on the video-sharing platform Instagram.
The couple reportedly tied the knot in February 2023, however, after nearly a year and a half of their marriage, age 29 Ankit Kalra, passed away on Monday, August 19.
Cause of Death
Sharing a picture of Ankit Kalra on Instagram, Insha Ghai Kalra captioned the post, “In loving memory of Ankit Kalra. 24-3-1995 – 19-8-2024.” However, as of now, there is no information regarding the cause of her husband’s death.
Insha accompanied the photo with a heartbreaking message expressing her profound grief, “Take me one day, I promise to do things differently! Come back baby, please? I miss you.”
Tributes Poured In
Witnessing Insha’s heartbroken post, fans of the couple flooded the comments section with messages of disbelief, prayers, and support.
One such user wrote, “Strength to you, Insha.” Another added, “Please stay strong, Insha! We’re all here for you. Rest in peace, Ankit. Still can’t believe it! But we promise to take care of your better half.”
One follower even mentioned that Ankit had suffered a silent heart attack. The couple’s last video, posted on August 4, 2024, was a trending reel featuring a humorous interaction between husband and wife.
In it, Ankit jokingly told Insha that he was going to a friend’s birthday party, and she teasingly suggested he should diet because he had gained weight. Ironically, Ankit’s line in the clip was, “No matter who comes, just stay with me.”
