Anjali Rupani is the wife of former Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani, who recently passed away in a tragic plane crash. She was born and raised in Gujarat and shared a similar ideological upbringing with her husband, Vijay. The couple shared a bond forged through a shared commitment to the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and Jansangh, which is the predecessor to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Sadly, Pujit passed away at the young age of three and a half after falling from a third-floor balcony. The couple founded the Pujit Memorial Trust in Rajkot in his memory.
